This is insane - Fires in SoCal
There's a fire in Irvine about a mile or two away. I had to drive to Gardena earlier for dinner...the drive on the 405 was just a pink haze at dusk. I was also on the 5 in Tustin earlier and I could see the licks of fire on the mountainside.
My apt. in Irvine just stinks of smoke and the crazy winds are just blowing ash and dust like crazy. Hope some of you people don't have crazy allergies.
Never seen it this bad. REPENT PEOPLE...puahahaha.

Yep, I'm in Foothill Ranch at the border of the El Toro MCB (former). Been watching the warm, orange glow over the hill for much of the evening.
It's bad, but I don't think it's as bad as it was back in the 90's when Malibu, Orange/Anaheim Hills, and Laguna Hills/Beach were on fire. That sucked.

Man, I'm in the Sorrento Valley area of S.D. and the wind, smoke and ash from the Ramona area fire is just crazy here; it looks like it's snowing outside. I can't even imagine how it must be for people much closer. Hope hey get this under control soon and these winds die down.

Just stepped out to take some pics. This is Portola Pkwy between Jeffrey & Sand Canyon. The wind at times were gusting to 60-70mph and with crap flying around I didn't want to be out for too long. It looked like the fire was moving 50ft/min.
3 years since I moved out here and I'm still not use to wildfires.

It was INSANE, and im typing now and I can still smell smoke and see ash falling through my window. THank God the Z was in a parking garage and is in my garage now. but this is INSANE so many fires!!!
