I want to get a Job @ Dealership
Hey guys, well, I'd like to get a job at a local Honda dealership doing service work because I want to get to know cars better and how it works. The reason is because I wanna know if modding car is what I'd like to do in the future as an occupation. I'd like to give it a try by going in there and asking the service manager for a job, but I'm quite unsure on what to say to him, as I have no previous experience. I'm gonna be turning 18 and my previous jobs has absolutely nothing to do with automobiles. Please help... Thanks
why not volunteer to help around a shop like GTM or something like that? Offer to clean up the shop in exchange for teching you about modding cars?
Hell you could even do that at the Honda dealer you were looking for a job at.
no experience = harder to get a job
volunteering to get experience = very easy

Yep, i dont mind volunteering or just being the little buddy, cleaning up the dealership, sweeping. I just want some side money so I could buy some aftermarket mods. I'm still financing for my Z and it'd be nice if they could gimme a job

i've met sam and he's a stand up guy. he's willing to teach as long as you're willing to work/learn.
the best thing to do is ask and see if they'll let you intern.
good luck
