Ok looks good..........for after-market bumpers I need someone in the area to stop by and let them measure..........ANYONE?

The company that responded quickly and has been in contact has been:

Star Shield Armor

Contact: Jeanne St. Gaudens

626.813.0299

626.813.0399 fax

1.866-no.chips

www.starshieldarmor.com

Also........

AMPLIFIED MOTORSPORT

Would match there prices and come out to do installations!!!

They use the following: FILM DESIGN, XPEL, AND INVISIBLE PATTERNS

Talking thru the G37 forum.......

As soon as we get the front bumper price we can all put in our orders..........Any other questions? Does anyone have a preference on which company to use???

They don't want to do a group buy. They say that the price for their kit is a good deal and from the looks of it, it might be:

Get your 350Z protected for only $495.00 (OEM) including installation and tax!!!

Coverage includes:
- Full Front Bumper
- Extended 30” Hood With Wrapped Edges! (That’s nearly twice the coverage as other shops!)
- Extended Fenders With Wrapped Edges!
- Mirrors
- A-Pillars
- Splash Guards (Wheel impact area)
- and your choice of Headlamp or Tail Light Overlays.

Just tried to PM you, but your inbox was full...

Josh,

I believe we did e-mail you a quote, but had the e-mail come back to us as undeliverable, so we tried again and it seemed to have gone through... we may have had the wrong e-mail address for you. My appologies if you did not receive it.

We have seen some of the prices you have posted regarding this group buy, and we decided to up the coverage and offer our deal to everybody on my350z/g35driver.

We really feel that at the prices you have posted, you are only going to be getting a very small ammount of coverage that would not protect some of the vulnerable areas, especially on the hood and fenders of the 350Z and G35, and by the time you add the extra coverage or factor in the aftermarket bumpers, etc., your people will be paying much more than they would with us... Not to mention, we feel we have a very solid reputation for quality work and materials.

It is to your credit that we put this offer together.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions you may have.

(909) 596-0053

Thank you,
AeroTect

i respect and trust the quality of your work is top notch. But the volume you will get by lowering your price a bit for this ONE time will more than justify it. Just my .

AeroTect,

I understand the difference in coverage and even if it cost more it would be worth it if coverage is more..........I would also perfer to do business with a vendor any day.

We have 350Z/G35/G37 interested..........if we can get a group deal and it doesn't have to meet the competition if the coverage and quality are greater. I think most of us would pay a little more for better quality.

Yes.........you might I have my old e-mail, I will call you on Mon. or Wed. and lets see what we can come up with.........

Thanks,

Josh

OK......sorry for the delay wanted to talk to Jason......

Talked to Jason @ http://www.aerotect.net/aerotect_015.htm and he explained to me why they wouldn't be able to lower there price........they cover a lot more than other comanies do so from that aspect I understand why there price is higher.

Talked to friends and they have heard good stuff about Aero Tect and they are a forum sponsor.

We would be in good hands from talking to Jason........

PLEASE EVERYONE GIVE ME YOUR FEED BACK..........FOR THOSE THAT WANT THIS NOW CALL JASON AND LET HIM KNOW YOUR PART OF THE GROUP BUY ON THE FORUM.........

KEEP IN MIND IF WE GO ELSE WHERE WE NEED 20...........

My buddy just got his M3 done over the weekend at aerotect. He had originally scheduled an appointment with starshield, which he had on his car already before his collision. However, he was unhappy with the appointment scheduling (canceled his appointment once to do install for a dealer and then came out another day only to say the car was too hot to do the install and left and would not come back that day). After hearing his complaints i remembered seeing aerotect's listing on this forum and gave him the info. He was extremely happy with their product and service and scheduling. He said the quality in the film was 100 times better (exaggeration) then starshield. He had mentioned that starshield had orange peel or dimples on it, whereas the aerotect stuff was smooth. He also mentioned that you couldnt' see the kit on the car from 3 feet with aerotects whereas you had to step about 6 feet to not see the starshield's. It was also about $55 cheaper to go with aerotect (he was going to pay full price for the starshield) for much more coverage, Pillars, headlights, he got 24" on the hood (not 30") vs starshield's 8-10" or something like that. He is extremely picky too, so when he says something is good, I believe it's good. If I ever buy a new car, I'm taking it straight to aerotect.
