Do not let this guy help you work on your car!!!!!! A few months ago i let him help me install a pair of seats in my car. Since i was very busy doing something else on the car, i let him do all the work himself. He frikin stripped ALL 4 bolt holes on the floor pan!!! He even broke off one of the welded nuts where the bolt goes into. I had to frikin torch the old floor pan mounting bars off, and weld some others in place!!! I had to rent a torch and welder for the evening, which cost me $250! I remember that day vividly. After he claimed the seats were done, he magically all of a sudden had to go home. I was under the car so i said lates. You chicken ***, you didnt have the ***** to say you screwed up and you didnt have the pride to take the heat. You know, if you didnt run away, and told me what the problem was, i wouldnt be pissed. This is what this guy does after i completely replace his front struts for him because he never worked on a car before in his life. I found out my seat was loose when i went out to open track the other weekend, and my seat came loose in a turn. Lucky i didnt crash. Beware of this guy, he drives a red 280zx.

Nick is a 17 year old kid that has a 1979 280zx. He drives it like he THINKS he is a race car driver. We went up to the hills and he spun out behind me when i was just cruising down, casually. This kid guns it through red lights, and then gets camera tickets sent to his house and doesnt accept blame for any of it and tries to pawn all responsibilty over on me to his parents, just because i was in the passenger seat at the time. He says its my fault i didnt tell him the light was turning red. This child speeds around his neighborhood and leaves rubber marks everywhere. He turns corners down his street like he is a race car driver! He drives at least 3 times the speed limit in his neighborhood at times.

This kid ARGUES with me constantly about cars. He didnt even know how to change shocks in his car, so i did it for him. His family thinks that there is a spray that reconditions brakes He acts like he knows all about cars, like a master mechanic. He lives on this opinion that Nissan developed the 300zx to be less of a car than the 280zx. He claims the 280zx was a better car in reliability, performance, handling, and refinement. I attempt to explain that auto manufacturers dont downgrade. The arguement always ends with comments like, "i know im right on this", blah blah blah.

This kid always talks about fixing up his car for "performance". He wants a turbo engine, he wants suspension, he wants racing seats, etc etc etc. Get this, he even asks me what a better swap would be, a 2jz or a vg30dett.....(this kid cant even change a spark plug)....for him to do himself in his garage at home. This kid does not even need a car, let alone more power. He always asks me to give him some performance parts in MY garage, even though he cant pay me for them. He wants my roll cage...........And now he wants to tear apart his head so he can add a "performance cam". HE had to call me at my home and have me guide him through the steps to change a valve cover gasket on an old L series engine.

He tells me a story, about how his 80's Toyota Camry was wrecked. He said he was "drifting" (front wheel drive POS) up in the hills and he lost control and slammed into the back of another car that was parked. That car started leaking fuel, and then it caught fire, so he took off in his wrecked car and then blamed the accident on a negligent driver, hit and run. This kid even made videos of him and his buddies street racing. His friend has an old *** stock Civic. His toyota camry was made back in the late 80's

This guy is the white boy type of kid who acts like he is japanese, and TRIES to speak japanese and call all cars by their japanese names. Kinda like a white boy saying "yo whats up my *****?".

A few weeks ago he messages me and tells me he got a racing helmet. This kid cant even drive safely,....and he wants more excuses to go fast???????? He gives away my home phone # to complete strangers without asking me, and then they call asking for parts for sale, and they are parts im not selling.

All i want, is for him to let me know when he wrecks his z so i can grab it for parts.

On another note, im sorry for that post i made on another site about the 350z guys and gals going out one night. Im sure you all remember that post.


Sorry, had to vent and clear the air, and i did it here because this is someone some of you know.

 

He drives the red STOCK 280zx at the end of this line, screwing up the nice line of 350z's, looking like a red turd.




Sorry for the rant, as you all can tell im really pissed off dealing with this little kids BS. Breakin my shizz and all...jeez.....

 

Flaming Nick in public like you have simply isn't cool. You know the sayings: "two wrongs don't make a right" and "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all."

The idea that you're warning us away from his help with our cars isn't very convincing since very few, if any of us, would let anyone do any significant work on their Zs by someone who's not a Nissan Autotech or someone with a certification.

If you have issues with Nick, you should discuss them with Nick. If he did something wrong, I suggest you straighten it out with him, in private and not on a public forum.

 

ghostkilla remember to say "yes dad" after HFM speaks...

my hand got slapped by dad once b4 too... I understand your issues... with Nick however a public forum is one way to berrate someone, however loosening the bolts in his seat is another way to get back at him hahah

And you must remember his 17 years old and still young and stupid.
