The only reason we are setting up something different is because for me the Burbank and Sepulveda is a total back track for me and I hate the 405.

As for that canyon drive for the 818ers, sorry I haven't posted anything about that yet. Its definitely on and I'll have all the details by the end of the week.
Hey guys. Here is the route for the 818 group that will do about a 50 minute canyon run that should drop us off at Neptunes Net just before the caravan goes buy. I'm gonna have a few quick errands to run in the morning, but should be able to make it to the meeting spot on time. The meeting location is the Village Coffee Roaster in Calabasas. The address is: 23351 Mulholland Dr, Woodland Hills, CA 91364. Everyone should be at this location by 10:00am and we'll be leaving at 10:15am on the dot.
The only concern I have with this route is that there could be rocks on the canyon roads that haven't been cleared out yet. Roads like Malibu Canyon and Kanan will be clear since they are very active roads, but deker and encinal might be a little hairy. Thats my warning. I'm still planning on going, just don't push it too hard around blind curves and you should be fine. Anyways here is the proposed route:
Head southeast on Mulholland Dr toward Spielberg Dr - 0.5 mi
Turn right at Valmar Rd - 0.4 mi
Continue on Old Topanga Canyon Rd - 0.8 mi
Slight right at Mulholland Hwy - 17.5 mi
Continue on Encinal Canyon Rd 3.4 mi
Turn right at Lechusa Rd .1 mi
Turn left at Decker Canyon Rd 3.9 mi
Turn right at Pacific Coast Hwy 4.1 mi

There's a good chance that I might have to back out of the canyon run to Neptune's. I'm probably going to have to pick up parts for my other car and get another new toy for the Z. I was really looking forward to this, but there's always next year.
