Looks like people are gonna have to wait longer for their new m3's or 1 series

Thats a bust. Was it on its way to the states ? I read a little and it said something about German plates. My buddy is on the wait for a 1 series, hopefully this doesn't affect him.

Those cars with light damage will be repaired at the Elizabeth Receiving facility and sold through BMW’s dealer network as new cars. Might want to spring for the CARFAX this time.
I would be pissed buying a BMW not knowing it was already wrecked then sold to me as new.

the article says they aren't selling them

"He also stated that they will not be auctioned, as there is a liability for letting previously damaged cars on the road."

actually the article does say they are selling the lightly damaged ones..

"Those cars with light damage will be repaired at the Elizabeth Receiving facility and sold through BMW’s dealer network as new cars."

so they aren't selling the super fu*ked up ones though.

"Those cars that were a total loss will be crushed as stated by the BMW rep. "

"Instructions: Park all M3's on one side. Park all 1 series on the other."

Someone needs to fire the crew of the Courage.
