im getting my shine v2 painted by makito and it will be shipped to me.hopefully the paint would match my pealwhite z.

 

i wouldn't go to JT for ppw. Their paint quality and match is eh. Yea you can go back to have it redone but how much down time do you really want? And they spray to heavily and always cause runs in the paint.

 

i got my shine amuse kit done by makito. very satisfied seven apple FTW!!!

After he repainted my bumper, I never got the sandblasted look again.

 

Good Lord...whatever you do...DO NOT go to JT auto. Their workmanship and quality blow. They don't take their time to do anything.

Sure the price is good...but what good is it when the clear coat is running, the bolts are drilled in at an angle...as opposed to drilling a screw in straight, and they misalign your nismo rear pieces so once fin is lower then the other?

2020 autobody in the city of industry also does EXCELLENT PPW matching. I got my bumper and lip painted from them, and the paint match was perfect, and held up longer than OEM paint. Nothing close to as many rock chips I got from the OEM paint.

Just got referred to this guy by Shine . . .

Does he have a shop or does he work out of his house or what? I'm scared of dropping my car off at a big shop because I don't want some tool to go around redling my car. Just got a fresh built longblock, can't have anyone destroying it during break-in period . ..

 

I actually thought Makito moved his paint shop into Shine's shop over @ Rancho Cucamonga... if anything PM Boneout JZA80 about where his new shop is.

 

450 isnt much for a reputable shop like 7 apples. I paid 350 for my paint SB V2 at another body shop, so a 450 PPW from Makito is actually fair id say.

 

Makito recently did my car and I'm more than satisfied with the quality of his work. He's a first class guy that I highly recommend!!!

well lets seee ive seen 1 z with a full amuze kit get painted by makito with the ts hood and the paint is flawless my freinds si sedan has been painted by makito its a habenero red color and the paint is flawlesss ive seen also 3 other freinds that own integras and the paint is flawless ill spend the extra money and get it done by a great guy who does great work makito ftmfw

7 Apple uses the spray booth at Shine Auto. They have a nice sized warehouse and no one will be dicking around with your car if you drop it off. The only bad thing I can is that 7apple is very busy and it can be hard to get your car painted the same week.

 

ive also seen Makito's work. hes good, fast, and fairly inexpensive. I dunno about the price now since he moved locations though.
