Default 7 apples

I bought my V2 lip from Shine auto and they referenced me to 7 apple body works. They quoted me for $450 to install and paint and put on my CF canards. My car is Pikes peak white so they said pearl white is a hard color to match and paint. Is their quality good and is it woarth that price. I was going to also go to M.O.B but my friend recently gave them a bad review and said their paint is cheap so Im lost. I live in So Cal near santa ana.

I've heard seven apples does the best PPW match in the state. There price isn't all that bad either imo since they have a rep for quality work

Just go with Makito, he's doing my Amuse kit from Shine for me.
He probably has the most experience with the Shine stuff too.
Saw his work, and it's pretty clean.

$450 seems a little high to paint a bumper and install, unless theyre doing more?

$450 for a lip!!!!!!! Good lord! You can install it yourself, that type of stuff is easy! Do we all own FERRARI's where we have to pay people to install everything for us so we don't get our hands dirty? Get them to paint it then put it on yourself, a lip should take no time at all.

you get what you pay for......

Makito is very reputable and does high quality work which he does guarantee. $450 includes shipping, prep and install the only thing you would have to do is drop your car off their...

you can always go to some ghetto hole in the wall place but why go half assed we drive $30-$40k cars

Are you talking about Shine's NISMO V2? If you are it's a FULL BUMPER, not a lip.
Only other lip that stands for V2 is Veilside, but I know Shine doesn't make that.
You sure you didn't get confused between BUMPER and LIP? I'm just asking you this question one more time and making sure cuz you are a noob.

Makito is the MAN to go to if you own a Z. He has worked on so many Z's so far that he's a Z bodykit master haha.
Also, he probably can do the best PPW match in So.Cal. I know a member here got his PPW painted by him and was very happy with the outcome.

When it comes to paint and tires, don't go cheap! You get what you pay for.

body work is one area where you don't really want to go cheap on. cheap work isn't good quality, good quality isn't cheap

We took our car to an insurance only place, it was a friends shop. But I have had body work done, by Wetworks garage, M1 Autobody, JT Autostyle, and several others so I have an idea of a price range, $450 still falls in for a good paint job if its a full bumper and not just a lip, but its just a little on the higher side.

hopefully you'll get to peep out Makito and his work one of these days, really awesome work and great guy, i would hate to see people judge someone regarding their work if they havent met him... all good though, did you go to the Shine Auto meet? Makito painted alot of the cars there including Shine's Amuse Z33, Ken's ferrari gunmetal FD, my Z's front and sides and some of the other Shine Auto cars and Z folks

Never had a chance to see the quality of his work, but I have heard many forum members happy with his work. Im not saying his work isnt worth it, im just going by standard bumper paint and install rates. Probably worth it for those harder to match colors.

I actually got the Nismo V2 full bumper with CF canards. Makito is gonna do it for 425 so im very happy for this. I want this bumper to last me along time so 425 is a good price for a great paint job.
