hi Steve-
thanks for the heads up on the pricing..

we would really like to get support for TechnoSquare from the Z community.. and this would be a way of really seeing how things work out with what they've been working on...

if its $2800 like you said, 30 peeps @$100.00 should cover more than enough... but getting 30 people would be kind of hard for a weekend/weekday cuz alot of people flake last minute...

i'll bring back this topic with Technos.... and see what they like to do..

Personally I think the big track stinks!! It's fast, yes, but fairly boring with long stretches of doing nothing. The Streets is much more technical, so a fast car won't necessarily be fast (fast cars seem to always be fast on the big track because there is not much driver skill involved in flooring your car and going down a long straight), it is much more about driver skill.

There is also the safety issues to consider. The big track, IMHO, is flat out too dangerous for first timers on a track. If you do go off track, you will more than likely be traveling at a very high rate of speed. Big track=big accidents!!!!

Even if you only get 15 people, I would pay $150 for a day with so few cars on track. Collect the money upfront, with no refunds to flakers.

Cheston- any ballpark of a date you're shooting for? I'll try to rally some of the guys up here. Also is this exclusive to Z's and G's? If we're having trouble getting people I may be able to get my boss to bring his C4S or Boxster-S.

I'm down. If it's a week day that might be a problem unless you can give me like a weeks notice.

right now we just want a SMALL group, i.e. 350Z/G35s only because we would like to track test the ECU program some more... give those people, a.. preview of what it can do for them at the track... if you get what i mean...

if we dont get enough Zs or Gs, then i'd prefer to open it only to those cars close to our competition.. aka. S2k, or Boxters. but i cant help it if i ask some of my Maxima buddies in to try to convert them over to buy the new Z. hahaha

yea. ask around.. ball park date, maybe july ish. it gets really hot at willow springs/lancaster area around that time. so we'll see...

Yup. Raceboy is right though, someone is bound to crash on the big track.

my friend i mentioned earlier holds some record in his dads carrera at the streets. I wonder how he would do with his silvia, you gotta let me know if you invite other car owners.

hey guys, I'm only interested in getting my ECU flashed...any word as to how much it'll cost? and do I have to be part of the track deal to get that done? i'm not 18 so i just wanna pop in real quick, get the ECU done and leave...just got new tires so i'm really not in the mood to go on the track
