Default Gauging interest: TechnoSquare Track Day: Streets of Willow?

Anyone want to go to a TechnoSquare Sponsored Track Day at Willow Springs??

The idea popped up as a good way to introduce the new ECUs, and if we had like 20 people, we could rent the entire TRACK to ourselves.. most likely on a weekday since it would be massively cheaper, or on a weekend with more people..

if you're interested, hit up a reply here..

Could that be the day we get our ecu's as well? Couple laps early, ecu upgrade, more laps to test out? sounds awesome. I know, I know, I understand that they cannot get over there to do it but dam it sure would be nice!

another question - how far is the track from san diego? is it north or east of LA? what day and time? how much? etc....

when can I get my ecu?

I'd like to join in on the fun but it depends on when the track day event is. I don't have my car back yet and probably won't for another month or so.

my car went in for supercharger prototyping - computer modelling, design and fabrication. I'm going to take a peek on friday (need to pick up my tags and registration so i can get my vanity plates waiting for me at the DMV). I talked to them earlier this week, looks like the roots blower design is going to fit underneath the stock hood which may be of interest to a lot of people.

You can contact Mackin Industries (www.mackinindustries.com)...they're the ones distributing Espelir. I think Eddy still works there so you can ask. I'm not in tight with those guys...it was all set up by a biz associate for the 350Z exhaust.

A few of Qs: Do you need a helmet to participate? Is there a date on this?

Also, Cheston, will your Z be there? I know it is asking a lot, but I'd like to "feel" your Z's power before I make this ECU change. Do you charge for a ride in your Z ?

You can count me in. I can tell you from renting it out in the past that it costs about $2800 for the day including the safety crew and insurance. They won't allown more than 20 cars on track at a time I believe. You will be better off getting 30 cars to keep the price down and running fast and slow run groups of 30 minutes each. I can help you out instructing for the beginners if you like. You can run a morning session clockwise and afternoon CCW to make it interesting. PM me.
