Got mine in El Monte (don't remember the name), got it full price without a test drive. Say what you want, but it was back when it first came out and all other dealers had a 4k-5k mark-up except for the one in El Monte. Only 2 were available, a red auto and a silver 6-speed. The sales guys was cool, but we both know I was not getting the best of deals. Then again, if you go to a "poor" area, you have a better chance of getting a better deal.

I say go to another dealership that doesn't deal with nissans, but still a big name dealership.. that's what I did.. I went to el rancho chevy. They most likely want the nissan out of they're lot.. I went straight to the fleet manager. They'll tell you the price straight out..and the lowest you can get it for because they don't get commision(sp?).. And you wouldn't have to deal with the annoying sales man that would have to ask the manager everything.

San Bernardino Nissan. They kinda suck. I don't remember why since it's been almost 2 years coming this Aril. I just remember giving them the lowest rating on their survey they send after you purchase a car.

Aaron,
Bought mine at Wondries through the whole Costco thing... At the time, they were the only ones that had a SS perf in stock and came in with the lowest price at the time. Probably could have gotten it cheaper if i waited... but i wanted the car! Still in love with it to this day...

BTW - $500 BELOW invoice is the going rate for a Z. Unless you want the Nismo model, or a VERY rare color/option combination

500 below interest huh? I'll have to keep that in mind. Looking to buy one as early as this sunday PPW 6MT enthusiast is hard to find tho I believe the only one in the area that has one is Buena Park Nissan. Waiting for an internet quote from them right now

Back in 2003 when I first got my Z I went to Planet Nissan in San Bernardino to look at the Z and they wouldn't even talk to me about the car! I went and talked to a random salesman at what I was looking for and they were just straight out being jerks! They wouldn't even get into the numbers with me, so I walked out and continued to Infiniti but they only had 4 door sedans. I finally ended up buying from EMPIRE Nissan. These guys were great they worked out all the numbers and got me a payment I was comfortable with. Don't know about them now since I have ONLY continued doing business with Performance or WCN.

I got mine at Power Nissan in Irvine. I live in SD and none of the SD Nissan dealerships would budge on pricing "we don't have problems selling Z's here" they said. Anyway, I worked with an "Internet Manager" and I sent an email asking for the price I wanted. He replied "when do you wanna pick it up?" I replied I was going to be upset if that changes when I get there. They held up their end of the bargain, and I came home with a brand new 05 SB Z.
