Default Which dealership did you get your Z from?

Just curious, because I want to know which dealership is shady, and which one will take care of me. I went to Baldwin Park Nissan so far, and Puente Hills Superior Nissan.

Puente Hills is giving me a hell of a deal, but the floor manager is a dick, and he talks like he doesnt need the sale, so I dont know if he will uphold the offers he was giving me.

Where did you guys deal with??

Save yourself some money and help another guy out, buy used. Bought my Z with under 5k miles for much cheaper than any dealer had right here on these boards. Just an idea.

Bought my '06 New in Oct '06 from Planet Nissan, Las Vegas. Got the car AT invoice. Not to say they do that everyday for everybody - but if you research and learn from Carbuyingtips DOT com. You'll see how I got my deal. They were great, (the dealership and the site above)!!!!

Stay away from Cerritos Nissan that's where I got mine. Hate them.

Connel Nissan in Costa Mesa isn't bad.

Yeah exactly the situation.

Baldwin Park offered me a 2008 Brand new BASE for $25K. Also, theyre giving me $11K for my IS300 to trade in towards a down payment.

I told this to Puente Hills Superior today and the guy just said, without any thoughts or hesitation: "Fine we'll give you $12K for your IS300, and I'll sell you an 08 Enthusiast for $23,500... WTF!!!

He's like yeah its a done deal dude jsut bring your car in and you can have it for the price I just told ya. He also said he'd throw in lifetime factory tires, if I blow one, get a nail, etc. Not that Im going to be using factory tires for long but, you get the point.

They're also pretty small, service and parts department look pretty ghetto, and all the salesmen just walk around eating popcorn and smoking cigarettes...

Im worried that when I go back, actually ready to do the paperwork and all, it wont be $23,000. He also guaranteed me under 4% interest, but I dont know if he's gona switch it up on me since we didnt do any paperwork or anything.

Hmmmm

What I did was, I told them the lowest price, and asked if they can beat it. Without hesitation, Louis said he try his best to talk to his manager, and the next thing I know, I'm signing the paperwork. I did take my car there like a month after I bought it because of low tire pressure. Their service people weren't like extremely welcome, but aren't so bad. Took about 15 minutes to get it done.

Are you sure they will sell it for $23,500? That is WAYYYY below invoice price and will be losing money. I dont see a reason for them to sell 08's for so cheap. But anyways, just take your car in and see if they'll do $23,500, I mean you got nothing to lose. If they make up some BS like oh my manager said we can't sell that price anymore, just walk the hell out of the door.

Yeah I know, but if it goes over $25K, its outta my budget and I'll have to find me an 03-04. It started off with Buena Park offering $5K discount incentives on new Z's I guess b/c the 09s are rolling in, and I said let me think about it. Went over to Nissa Superior and he said he'd beat their price with NO hesitation. The guy I talked to was Oscar Martinez.

I'll go in again tomorrow to see if he can put it on paper, so the offer still stands when I try to pick up the Z in a week or 2...

Even if I pick up my car from Superior, I'll definitely be going to West Covina Nissan for any parts and service...

If you do not mind a little drive, the Gordons have a Nissan store in Temecula. They are one of the coolest/nicest families in the whole Socal auto industry.

BTW - $500 BELOW invoice is the going rate for a Z. Unless you want the Nismo model, or a VERY rare color/option combination

word. Bunch of jerks there.

I walked in and the sales manager/supervisor(not the salesmen, he was cool) treated me like a 15 years old with an unrealistic dream to own a Z. Totally underminding my income and credit. I walked out of there with disgust. I considered filing a lawsuit against them for violating the fair lending act but decided it wasn't worth my time just to get back at the guy.

Buena Park Nissan is also a bunch of jerks. Don't buy from them.

Just go wherever you get a good deal, but ultimately if you want true service, go to performance in duarte or WCN.
