my toys
My Kimber is my baby. Paid way too much for all the custom stuff
The Makarov is an amazingly reliable pistol
The Ruger sucks my nuts and never really gets used.
And the P22 I bought before they went illegal here in Cali
The Ruger 10/22, cuz overyone needs to have one
And the SKS is one of the finest examples I have ever seen. Milled, not stamped. That thing is a BRICK. We will not show you the other goodies I have for it. Right now it is in 'California legal" mode.
And, aside from the 2 Rugers . . . . They are all kept loaded, one in the chamber, and safety on in a quick box

Here is the key;
To remove the magazine requires more than an attached part of the gun. So remove the release and use a spent shell instead. This keeps it legal.
I have found a few ways around it. But even recently they just got rid of the 90% rule. Now they do not even allow the stamped flat recievers that you fold yourself to make one.
Just get a Springfield instead. For some reason they think the pistol grip is an integral part of an 'assault' rifle. So the Ruger mini-14 is still legal, and you can get a 30 wound mag for that. And the Springfield is a 30-06 that will hold 30 rounds. And I swear I owned those 30 round mags since BEFORE the ban officer
