Read thru all 3 pages but clearly have missed something - need clarification. I saw a meet up at Mira Mesa @8:30 and a meet up at Fallbrook gas station at 8:30am. Which which is which? Regardless, sign me up!

 

Meetup in Mira mesa is just for SD poeple to rally at and cruise up to the Fallbrook main start point for the mountain cruise. Meeting at Starbucks at 7am and rolling out around 7:20. Main mountain cruise leaves Fallbrook at 8:30am

umm a couple things about this. while on this drive, please don't try anything stupid. like drifting on the mountain. during the first drive we had, a wrx had slid off the road and fell off the road and ran into a tree. second, please make sure that you fill up before we head out. last time, when we were leaving some people were left behind for the first leg of the drive. third, just have fun. some of us like to drive faster then some others. thats why it was mentioned that we want to push the people who want to drive faster up in front.

i can't keep up with equinox's 07 Z but I tried though lol.

For some reason, Coco seems like a somewhat conservative driver, though I could be totally wrong.

 

oh oops, please be on time for the san diego caravan up to fallbrook. had a little trouble leaving for the HB meet last year.

 

well i'm for sure going. This was my idea from like a month ago that i've been pitching lol.

 

hopefully driver gets up soon so i can make sure everyone knws about the 30th.... also i hope to get some g37 guys out to....ill most likley chill in the back.... the fast ppl up front and i might lead us cruiser guys if that sounds good to you guys

 

^ sounds good. We'll make sure we have copies of the route to pass out. If it's a big turnout, splitting into more manageable groups and staggering the start a bit will be better for keeping everyine tight and getting around traffic.

As many people as possible should try to bring two-way radios as well.

haha its too late. i read somewhere that you need to redeem yourself from last time jk. the first leg of the run is mainly a 2nd to 3rd gear run up the mountain. then second and third leg are 5-6 except for in the second leg if your in the group that gets lost, and end up in the windy portion. thats 2nd to 3rd haha

 

^^^ lol, yea i probably did..lol, i should be good this run, upgraded to a steel braided clutchline and using motul so headers shouldnt boil me on this run.
