LOL, guess the guy in the ditch we cruised by last time didn't get that memo.

It's kind of the point of these organized cruises for it to be a large group of the same kind of car; we've always kept it in the Z/G family. There are groups or Subis/Evos, groups of Vettes, etc. that do the same thing. No prob, though; we won't turn anyone away.

Hope to make it out, but I'm doing some canyons with some G35 guys on saturday morning. Not really in the mood to wake up early for both days, but we'll see.

Not hating...but spank?? hardly...Stock for stock, I'd say its completely driver dependent, especially on a tight mountain road where AWD isn't going to do anything but make you understeer.

I don't mind other cars coming along, but I was really trying to organize this event for the local Z owners.

if you truly think a STI can beat a 350z, then I guess you have been watching too much WRC. ever seen a new Civic Type R from Spoon actually give a Power House Amuse S2000 and a Elise a run for their money? you should watch some Hot Version and Best Motoring footage. I side with Equinox, more of the driver's skill then power going stock to stock.

+1, I'm ready for some canyon carving w/o rain, otherwise those STI's will have the advantage...

^ because that's kind of the idea behind a cruise set up on a car specific forum: to keep the cruise car specific. duh.

I didn't set this up, but the majority of Zs with a few other cars sprinkled in is fine with me.

Personally, I've done plenty of runs/drives with other car groups while driving a different car from the rest. It's not a big deal.

See you guys in the morning.

All weather websites I've looked at show no more than 10% chance of rain. My guess is that it may drizzle just a tiny bit in the morning driving out to fallbrook, but the roads should dry pretty quickly.

I will check weather again in the morning and post around 645A before i head out.
