Horsethief Mile (at Willow Springs International Raceway)

A small group from zilvia.net are trying to get some drivers for their track day at Horsethief Mile. Event is currently tentative because they need more drivers. I plan on going. Any other Z drivers want to help me put the hurt down against those s-chassis? just kidding..seriously though, it would be great to see some other Z drivers on track.

There will be drift groups and grip groups so there should be something for everyone. Anyone who's driven this course can tell you how much fun it is. It is like driving on a canyon road.

You will get A LOT of seat time at this event.

Bump this one back up. Just a couple more people needed for this event. So far the grip group only has 6 people. TONS of seat time people! Let's go!

Do they require a certain kind of helmet (eg; SA2005; DOT)? I would have posted this there I just created an account but it's still in the moderating queue.

 

Motorcycle rated helmet should be fine.

 

tried to get my car ready to do this event too but my wheels and tires have not come in yet. i was just at HTM last weekend too and i really want to drive it.

 

Just run what you got I'm on stock wheels. heh

 

one of the tires is patched which ive had 3 track days on since i patched it. if i had any tires left i would, i took it to sows 2 weeks ago at the very end of its life and its on my stock wheels too.

 

I was there last sun, mar 30th in my 240sx. Were you the silver Z?

I pretty much had Balcony to myself most of the time. Tons of seat time to practice drifting.

Was your friend in the Red FD? That car is pretty sweet. I was in the red 240sx. I was pretty much at Balcony all day. I was scared to spin my novice butt off the track at HTF.
