I'm new to the area (just moved here from Vegas) and I'm looking to put a body kit on my car soon. I've never modified a car before and was wondering how much can I expect to pay for paint and install? I've had the stock bumper, fenders, hood and side-skirts painted before and it ran me around $700 bucks. Somehow I have a feeling that the price for this is going to be considerably higher.

 

for me i bought full replicas for front bumper/sideskirts/spoiler nismo v2

pieces ran roughly 1100
paint was 700
install was 300
(paint and install were done by family friend so he charged 1 large for the whole deal, dnno how much it usually runs)

so for a near full body kit, i paid jus over 2 large

 

Yeah that wouldn't bother me so much if it was around that price. Now I just need to find a decent body shop here in Escondido or San Diego. Any suggestions?

 

Anyone know of a wheel repair shop that's reputable here in San Diego? I have some minor curb rash that looks like it could be repaired but I didn't find any shops in the local shops thread.
