Just a suggestion: For events and cruises and runs, we should utilize the Calendar. I know it may be a little redundant, but, in the end, I think it may serve to orgainze the various stuff going on.

What I've been doing:

• is creating an entry in the Calendar with the link to the thread. I don't bother with the details. That's what the link is for.
• Precede the title with "SoCal:" because the Calendar is national.

Because the threads are automatically marked as read even though I didn't tell it to, it's hard to figure out the new threads for cruises/runs/events. I only notice these things when somebody responds or bumps.
