z06 2:02.2
911 turbo 2:02.1
gtr 1:56.9
That was with Steve Millen driving. Of course he'll smoke any of us. He's a pro.

He'd smoke us in a Civic.

On the road course, its 90% about driving ability.

I've raced against FI Z's, ZO6's, the Ford GT and many other cars with waaay more capability. Spanked all of them but the GT. Was at least able to keep pace with the GT.

And that was when my revup Z was totally stock... even with an open diff.
No LSD, no sways or R-tires.

I'll bet 1/2 of the GTR's at the track will be owned by drivers of only low to moderate experience. Then there will be a small handfull of real pros to keep away from.

Heck, I remember one event at Buttonwillow where there was literally a stripped down civic that was handing every body their azz on a platter.

Joe,

If you are looking to do a track session sponsored by Jspec, I'm down for that.

If you do it through another group, I'll give a +1 to Speed Ventures. They are a good group to run with.

True, but that's not easy when you have to rely on other people.

Thats why payments will be taken before hand...that makes it a little easier..and when some one pays the money it costs to go to the track they will show up...

+1 for Speed Ventures. It would also be cool if we could do a special run session for a Z challenge kind of like what Redline does for the Focus Challenge.
