El Guy I think you should just do a little more search on the Forum and I think youll find most or all you questions on here. I'm not bashing on you bro, but your gonna get people that are.

Hint: Oil and Spark plugs is a good start for searching.

I have the tranny & the diff ready to go, looks pretty easy, Just dont see anything for the radiator flush? Also checking to see if needed, Just wanted opinions or any recommendations on what to use as oils and filters. it looks like everyone likes the redline for tranny and diff, I was wondering if i should use castrol synthetic, But was not sure of the grade?

I got 4 quarts of Lucas synthetic and 1 quart of their synthetic oil stabilizer, safe for cold starts and running the VQ hard.

Motul 300V 5W-30. Hands down. No other oil I've tried held its viscosity better...

2) Radiator flush
ANY DIY on this part?
This I would take it to the dealer, they have better ways of disposing of the old stuff.

3) Transmission

4) Differential

There is a nice DIY thread about transmission + differential fluid flushing. I have a few posts in there. I like the redline products, they work fine for me. This stuff COULD NOT be easier.

5) Spark Plugs
What do you guys recommend?
You don't need to change them at 50k if they are stock.

6) Clutch
Do i need to service?
Perhaps flush the fluid. Or install a braided stainless clutchline. I hear it's not very hard to do, but haven't done it yet.

7) How about greasing the the chassis and doors and hinges?

Also do you guys a good shop in L.A. or in Rancho Cucamonga that can do this for a fair price.
Only grease what squeaks. The z is practically grease free, doesn't need much or any.

Shop?
Performance Nissan ... John Kuo is a good guy

Also... you're forgetting a big one.

Flush that brake fluid. Also check the wear on pads and rotors. Get the Motul RBF600... This should be done like once a year regardless of mileage. This is probably one of the most important maintenance items to keep up with on a sports car

Pretty easy but can be messy.

for a daily driver, i'd just use synthetic motor oil from mobil, castrol, or valvoline. same thing for brake fluid. probably cheaper and easier to find than motul.

redline for trans and diff.

Motul, Lubro Moly, and Mobil 1 are all good synthetics. If your looking for spark plugs we carry NGK Iridiums for $50 shipped.

when would you recommend changing the spark plugs if they are stock? Since these arent easy ones with easy access like on a chevy. what mileage would you recommend?

My Z is a Base MT 6spd, I only have upgraded the intake and put bigger brakes, Rotors are slotted, pads are hawks and I also installed braided lines. I can seriously recommend to upgrade breaks and pads, My Z has good stopping power and very little dust. Compared to stock crap they put on our Z.

Thanks Wired 24/7, Yeah didnt think about the used oils. I am thinking i should take it to a shop, it gets hard to dispose of the oils.

What you guys think this would be a ball park fair price. i kinda figured with parts and labor it should be around $300.00

Here what i think
Oil $ 49.00 synthetic
Tran & Diffe $ 150.00
radiator flush $ 49.00
Clutch flush $ 40.00

I get 288.00 so around 300.00 should be ok, But that if life was fair. you know the dealer would laugh at me. They would be our parts doing even cost that price or they would come up with some bull.

With the stock ones, on a mostly stock engine they usually can last up to 100k miles. But if you going to be doing anything like lower plenum or plenum spacer, good mod to do while those are out.
