I prefer it to banana bay, but it's subjective as other's prefer banana bay. For the dishes I order, I think it tastes better at the boat, but often times the boat can be crowded so banana bay may be a better choice.

I don't know if it's bomb, but it's okay. For late night eating, it's no better than denny's if that puts it in perspective, but it is cheaper and has more options.

I prefer the boat over banana bay. I also like the mango boba in life plaza. they are closed for renovation though =[

the corner of amar and azusa in west covina have alot of filipino food places, for those of you who likes filipino food. actually they even have an all you can eat shakeys over there hahaha

"Roberto's" (IIRC) in La Jolla on La Jolla Blvd (2-blocks south of Symbolic)

The best authentic Mexican and very cheap!

Another place called "Spicy Shabu Shabu" in Artesia (Pioneer/182nd). They have a menu which they called "economic meal". portion is smaller than normal places but I see it as a benefit. You and your party can order a bunch of variety and yet it is still cheap.

I keep thinking of more places. I am a food critic. Please note I am not a fat *** okay

I admit that place is good. Yes I know it seem like I have been all over town haha.

A hole in the wall place called Hector Place on Aviation close to Imperial is a good place too.
