Default CSULB STUDENTS - Hello

What do you guys think of the school?

I currently live in NorCal and am about to make a decision whether to attend CSULB or not. This will be my first year in college & I'm considering bringing the Z down. I hope the city & school parking lots is Z friendly.

I graduated from UC Davis in 05 and I'm applying to the Masters in Social Work Program there. I went to an information session and the campus is nice in my opinion. Doubt the parking is Z friendly. Like in all schools, take a bike or bus. I'm not risking leaving my car for 8 hours in a parking lot awaiting a door ding to come.

The city surrounding CSULB is not Z friendly it has the worst roads ever, and traffic around the area is hell, but regardless you will want to bring your car. The area after CSULB is pretty ghetto, I know it doesn't make any sense, but if you stop by you'll understand what I'm talking about.

But you can't go wrong with the school, It's in the top percentiles, and it's affordable, campus is nice, and the ratio of students is good to.

csulb student here. parking is ok depending on where you live. if you're dorming it you'll be fine. if you're gonna find an apartment...parking in the street can be difficult depending on where you're gonna live and it's a commuter school so finding parking on campus can be hard at the beginning of the semesters.

i go there as well. tuesdays and thursdays are the busiest days, especially if you enroll in classes between 930 and 12 in the afternoon. I dont live on or close to the campus so im not sure how parking is in the area. Its a great school though and i think ur gonna like it there..

LB is sweet man. Parking is hell in the morning hours though. I never got dinged. But that's considering the fact I did look to find the good spots. I commuted but it wasn't too bad after the first month. You just have to get used to the times when it gets busy and what not. I say the real plus though is the girls. Haha. Last I heard the ratio was 1guy-5girls. How can you hate that? Oh yeah and all that ejumakashun stuff is good too.

I graduated 10 years ago, lots of new buildings up, campus looks clean. Anything outside of CSLUB becomes ghetto.

i'm going there, you'll see me around in the parking structure by the pyramid w/ a black mkiv supra. If not, a white mkiv supra. Gimme a heads up if you see me. But in regards to csulb, great campus, just try to find good spots to park and be there really early if you want decent parking. Haven't got my door ding yet, but thats relative to the mass amount of dents i have on my car.

im a CSULB student as well. As a school, its clean, nice and fine. During the hotter days, the girls... omg yes. Grill&Pub 'The Nugget' on campus for your drinking pleasure. Parking is terrible if you arrive late mornings but around 9am its fine. Right now they are building a parking structure next to the recently built one so parking should be a little better than it was before. Overall its a pretty nice school for being a commuter type.
