I know its for added safety but I know some tracks do not require extra bars! So, if willow do not have this strict safety thing then i wouldn't mind joining you guys.

I noticed some postings about the day on G35driver...pretty frightening.

Guys were worried about heat and asked about tinted driver and passanger windows being allowed! Of course, no race track allows you to have your windows up on the track.

Others were worried about using air conditioning and their car overheating....Not even going to touch that one.

Others were suggesting checking their brakes and felt that maybe bleeding them a bit would be a good idea.....sounds like a newbie day to me.

That being said, I might be interested in watching the carnage. I have a knee sugery coming up, so who knows if I can make it. It depends on the recovery.

lol

I'm pretty sure not very many people are going to be pushing their cars hard enough to have any major issues. I will be taking basic tools and supplies for those that do, however.

Will there be any type of timing provided? if you can borrow the transponders from the speedventures group I would definitely go. if theres no timing and no Advanced run group I don't think i will be attending. but good luck to all the noobs none the less.

I don't personally own any timing devices, but you're more than welcome to bring your own...

Contact SV, maybe you could loan one out.

They open at 8AM.

I'd want everyone there by 8:15, we'll check in, and go over some rules etc, and get the (intermediate) run group on the track by 9:00am.

I'm probably in, but I need a date...(75%)
And yes, I'm a noob...my only exprience was at the Z nationals, and my car is bone stock.

BTW, can someone connect me to a tow-hitch thread...or tell how to get that done?

I'm not sure on the Z's. If you don't have a tow hitch, you just need a pre-determined tow point(s).

On the G35s, it's easy. You just take off your front plate if you have one, pop off the rectangle cover, and screw in the hitch.

Bump for update.
