The reason your car is shutting off is because with out the cluster the alternator does not charge the battery, hence why you can go for about 20 mins before the ignition system kills your battery.
So either add a solar panel to your car or put the cluster back in

Thanks George. I figured somethong similar along those line, hence the reason I have a bud going to the shop and picking up my cluster and other pieces. I was also wondering y my battery wasn't charging. I feel much better having an expert confirm my theory.
Now its just a matter of waiting for my parts and tools to find me. I would be surprised to see a bunch of peeps spot me today. LoL
Sux that my 'quick' trip to finalize my rims turned into a freaking day journey.

Haha I was actually thinking about going to Covina Autobacs earlier since I couldn't concentrate on studying anymore.
