Default Apartments near San Diego?

I wanted to know if anyone on the boards knows any towns near San Diego that have apartments for cheaper than San Diego and neighborhoods that are nice. I just accepted an offer of employment from the US Border Patrol and need to find a 2 bedroom apartment near San Diego. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

1300 for a 2 bedroom in a good area, IMPOSSIBLE...

there is some new development in the San yasido area, and I would think it would be cheap than San Diego's average.

not the case at all. I spent 1350 for a townhouse in Rancho San Diego, one of the nicest and safest areas around.

I'm guessing he needs an apt near the border, so maybe National City. I'm not sure about Chula Vista or surrounding areas as I have never really been down there for a decent period of time.

Pretend to be an Indian....we voted to give them a $#!+ load of money. Get a job on a reservation and find an apartment and it'll cost you way less than being a real American.

(How'd I do? Was I gnarley enough)

ok i believe it is called brown field or brownville...something with brown in it...i dont know too many details yet as I am awaiting my packet explaining everything but i was told this info over the phone. Also, I think we can swing it with a large 1 bedroom. Maybe that will help with the prices, since the baby doesnt need her room yet. thanks fellas

Brown Field is down south. So you should look at areas from the I-8 (interstate) and south.

Brown Field is the name of the airport down where you'll be stationed. Imperial Beach would be fine.
