What will the rate plans for the iphone be?

What is the best thing to complain about to get something out of your company? example: money(credit), free service( or features), heavily discounted phones, etc..

Currently, the new iPhone data plans will be higher than the older 2g model. Expect to see prices for the data plans at 30 and 45 depending on corporate email access or not, but no messaging is included in those two plans.

Service discounts will be available on the rate plans for qualifying customers/businesses, but no extra discount on the iPhones themselves.

The software will be the newer 2.0 version which will have microsoft exchange abilities and access to 3rd party applications. The older 2g iPhones will soon be able to get the newer software as a download in order to have those abilities.

Also, the prices on the 3g iPhones themselves will be $199 for the 8 gig in black, and $299 for the 16 gig in your choice of white or black. These prices are the two year contract price and are no longer the flat out price. At this moment, there is no flat price to buy the iPhone since you have to either be eligible for an upgrade or starting new service to get the low prices.

The older 2g iPhones had a 14 day return policy (regulated by Apple) and a 10% restocking fee if the pkg was opened. It's looking like there may be extensions on the return policy of the older 2g iPhones depending on when they were bought, but there is currently STILL a 10% restocking fee if returned.

The new 3g iPhone is slated to have a 30 day return policy verses the old 2g version's 14 day policy.

So I'm on a family plan right now... if I upgrade my line to the 3g iPhone... what kind of change in service/cost are we talking... I'm debating getting the iPhone or another phone like the Pantech Duo. Is it different since there are 5 lines in my plan?

To get the iPhone, you can keep your current minute and/or messaging rate plan, but your data feature will have to be updated to one of the two available iPhone data plans.

Yes, if you employed by a qualifying employer, you can use the monthly service discount on your monthly charges, just not the price of the iPhone itself.

No refunds on any iphones purchased recently.

downgrading your plan doesnt renew your contract.
for mutiple iphones i recommend the 1400 minute plan with unlimited text.

The rate plans for the iphone are 30 dollars for data so a 10 dollar increase from last iphone plan other than that they are the same.

pepsi gets a bigger discount than coca cola.

Yes, there will be refunds eligible on recently purchased iPhones, but it depends on the date purchased. The 10% restocking fee rule still applies, and some, depending on date purchased, will be able to return their 2g iPhones no later than August 1st (after the release of the 3g version) in order to exchange for the 3g iPhone.

The data rate plans are 30 and 45. 45 being the one with enterprise email and 30 for unlim data/regular email.

For all of you wanting service discounts based on your employer, you can either drop by a local corporate store to get it added or log online to our website and enter your work email address.

why does AT&T arbitrarily decide to block port 25, forget to tell their subscribers and then give them a run around when they call because their SMTP email is failing, and then make it a pain to request an exception?

Just curious.

They block port 25 to protect you from spamming in case your computer is compromised and used as a spam relay server. If you have a problem with this, just set your SMTP server to use a port other then 25 or a port forward to 25.
