Default What tire do you think is best for the track?

The fourm has been kind of quiet about this kind of thing and in So Cal, we have the luxury of having a ton of sun most of the time. Now mind you this question is regarding tires that you would use on a car you may drive on the weekend and go to the track with. Forget rain and daily drivers.

That being said, I want to see what the members feel is the best track tire. I have run the Falken RT-615 and love it, but I have no other tire to compare it to since that is all I have run.

So you track guys, let's hear from you!

Well they are racing tires that will only last you about 4k on the street, but will stick like no other until they have too many heat cycles in them.
As stated before you could try r888 or ra1 both good tires. If you want slightly cheaper you could look into kumho v700 tires as well.
