I seen some guys driving in Alhambra off Valley, I wonder if those where honda ruckus, They looked cool and sound low.

With a 50cc expect a top mph around 35 maybe 40. I'm looking into the Kymco Agility 125. Its 125cc's so top speed is around 60 mph and under 2K new with a 2 year warrenty. Seen nothing but great reviews.

the ruckus is sick but i'd probably just buy a ninja like gimpster posted in the first page

Yeah go with the ruckus out of what was mentioned.

For 50cc, the yahama zuma gets 123mpg and costs ~$2K. I believe a 125cc is also offered.

It might be a bit too euro/feminine, but there's always the vespa.

A used bike would be the best option though.
