+1 on mods. TP will make you feel the pull. I pulled on the same year z as mine even with a passanger in the car. He had same mods almost same brand and i pulled up hill by half a car with the gf. I still say drive a ford escort, there isn't much slower cars out ther lol.

 

yea dude, boost is my only way... my civic is boosted but that thing wont hook for ****... thats why its going up for sale to support "project Z"

i look at it like this... ok maybe i am just "getting used to the power". but i dont think that just by driving a slower car that will help me fall back in love with the power that was once there... in general i already feel like the Z is just way too slow... i guess everyone is right... For sure bro, me and some members in here are thinking of setting up a Photoshoot (rolling shots)/ cruise / few hard pulls./ mountain run, basically some spiritual driving. If you have a spot you know besides track...lol, PM me.

 

will the exhaust really help out that much with our cars? thats the reason why i didnt want to bother yet. didnt want to seem like a ricer with a exhaust only lolz... cause i know that when i just had a exhaust on my civic before i went FI the only thing that changed was the sound. i didnt notice any power difference at all...

 

i didnt notice much from evo2+ tp. might make you feel like you are driving a faster car cuz of the sound, but thats about it.

 

Take it to Sam at GTM....it will feel much faster!

i would say, get a project car.. like a eclipse gs-t/gsx and use your 350z as a dd..

it doesn't take much to make those cars fast.. i've been through 2 eclipses and i might pick up another one or 240sx if everything goes right by the end of this year or so..

Indeed, what WOULD Sam do?....for those interested in FI it's almost like saying, "What would Jesus do?"

For starters he would ask what you plan to use the car for and what your budget is. He would help you determine what you are really looking to get out of your Z and then he would make it happen. If you are really considering boost, I highly recommend a visit.

nate... i have a project car already... more of a dyno queen. i have a 95 civic coup with a gsr head and a B20 bottom end built and boosted. making over 500whp. civic's are cool BUT my Z is COOLER i just seriously think i need more hp with my Z.... gotta go FI soon.

 

I hear ya....I've been waiting forever to go FI and Im finally in the process. My ZR is at GTM right now and should be ready in about a week. Getting the HKS SC plus an engine build and stroke to 4.0L. I can hardly wait! Good luck with your decisions.
