Question Help me please

I'm gonna be taking care of a 10 week old baby and was wondering if anyone out there has taken their baby's in the Z? I read the warning label and it says no rear facing child seats, I'm not sure if it is a rear facing seat, but what do I do if it is? Can I not take any children in baby seats? I need to know by Sun. 27 if anyone has any input I would really appreciate it.

I would use another car. And if you can't get another car to transport the baby then don't. I personally would not put a baby in the front seat of any car.

No switch to turn off the airbags in the Z, so if you were to be in an accident, God forbid, its deadly for the baby. What happened to the Expedition?

It doesn't look good. In the manual it says:
Never let children 12 or under ride in this vehicle."

Childer under 12 should not ride in a Z without installing an air bag ON/OFF switch. It says you can purchase this switch from Nissan.

I agree with Importriders, see if you can use someone elses car.

I believe the baby seat has to be backward until the child reaches a certain weight. After that you can then turn the seat around so it faces forward.

That being said it is not a good idea to put any babies in the Z because the air bag cannot be turned off.

You GOTS to find another ride.

(after your done watching the kid I would be interested to know how you liked being a "temporary" Mom!)

Tanks a lot dudes for the quick responses. I have my Expedition but I got into a car accident last year and I have a small phobia of driving it. I will most likely stay at home with the baby and will have her dropped off at my casa.

The whole car seat thing sucks, what if there are parents out there with a baby and the Z is their only car? What do they do then?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to being a temporary momma, I love kids.

I guess they should trade the Z in for a bigger car or get another car.
