got pulled over 3 weeks ago forget to post this up

i baught my car with an aftermarkey exhaust it was my buddys and he doesnt have the orignal exhaust n e more

is there n e ways i can fight the ticket

the nice brea officer told me it is illegal to have an aftermarket exhaust is tht true some 1 help me out

also he said i was speeding going like 50 on a 40 but i wasnt

he didnt show me the radar gun i saw him on the curb posted

he jsut waited for me to roll by the came around me and pulled me over

help me out guys n e thing i can do about it

or could i post this some where much better??

fix it ticket... swap out the aftermarket for the oem [gotta somehow get your hands on one]

and thats about all you can do

 

I'm gonna have to say the cop is full of doodoo about aftermarket exhausts being illegal. Technically, any exhaust that you buy other than from the dealer is aftermarket. If it has functional cats and mufflers, then I don't see any way that he can give you any hooey about it. I've been pulled over before and the cop flat out lied to me about at least three things and I called him on all of them. Cops need to quit making up "laws" and stick to the ones that are written.

tht s what i thought too as long as its got cats and a muffler i should b good to go mayb cause its a single cat back idk with 1 exit n 2

o well brea police are horible where i live they got nothign to do

they write jay walking tickets to the kids tht go to the local schools around here

ahah

o well hopefully the judge helps me out
