ask one of the vendors on the forum who sell exterior parts for suggestions.

I would use greyhound. Their shipping is much less because it is not door to door.

I got an OEM bumper in the mail a while back that was shipped through UPS. The seller used one large box and then cut two smaller boxes up and made a |_____| shape. The bumper fit in great. If I remember right it cost him about $100 to ship it via UPS. You may have to make it a bit longer to also hold the side skirts.

I would think a cardboard box would be the best way to protect a urethane (or fiberglass) body part.

I've heard of people using grayhound but have never trired it - I hear it's pretty cheap.

I shipped greyhound not to long ago. It was half the price of Fedex and arrived faster since they travel on the weekend! They are open late and open on the weekend. The only draw back is the receiver will need to pickup the package at a greyhound location. Check out the website!
