Default Need help on shipping wheels.

I'm trying to ship my 19" Volks w/ Pirelli Tires already mounted on them. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy boxes and packaging materials that fit the set of wheels.

And does anyone know the "ballpark" price of shipping rims w/ tires? I'm shipping from Los Angeles to Florida.

Dude, just use cardboard to protect the wheels on both sides and strap them w/ those packaging straps (x). If you live close by, I'll help you. Shipping probably will cost you about $150 via UPS Ground, try UPS.com to get a quote.

DHL would cost you around 100.

use cardboard rounds on each face of the rim, and tape around to hold them in place. I also use shrink wrap on the tread.

use ALOT of tape. and ALOT of shrinkwrap.

just to note: I literally JUST shipped 4 G35 19inch oem rims w/ tires on them.

they each weighed 51 lbs packaged and it cost me 25+/- per rim to ship with sig verification and 250 insurance on them.

because yours are slightly wider I would assume, they will be a little more pricey. but not 25/pp more.

+1. just get 8 pieces of cardboard cut out to the size of the wheels and tires and sandwich them to the wheels. then wrap it with clear wrap

I've been searching for shrink wrap everywhere near Los Angeles.. I even tried 2 different Home Depots, they don't have them in stock..... Lol, would food wrap work?

Could anyone recommend me a store?
