Does your ticket say that you need to go to the State Ref? If it doesnt, then this doesnt apply to you. Your ticket would need to be signed off my Sheriff's or CHP. Not the same as state ref.

Ok, I was going to post a thread in regards to this, as I just got a ref ticket last night. Modified Emissions, I have called around, being weekend and all. I have not gotten any solution. from CHP or SDPD.

just got off the phone with a CHP officer, and he told me that the BAR should re-open end of this month, for ow sit tight.

also depends on the type of citation. if the officer places a stick at the back on your citation, you will need to go wait and see a ref.

He also told me that I can go to court, and resolve it faster.

my question is, how do i resolve it faster? I was thinking of taking my intercooler out, and piping and place the stock air box, yes the car will run like ****, but so I can pass the visual

I called the State again due to the large amount of confusion. They said that until the budget is passed, the ending date for the closure is not set at all.

06Mag's comments "Does your ticket say that you need to go to the State Ref? If it doesnt, then this doesnt apply to you. Your ticket would need to be signed off my Sheriff's or CHP. Not the same as state ref." Are correct. So check your cite.

However, I got to befriend the guy at the DCA and he said that there have been a ton of calls on this. He even got a couple cars from judges confirming the information. He said the judges have just been asking if the they corrected the issue. If they say yes, well, it's their lucky day. The ticket is dismissed. If not, they give a 60 day continuance. I'm not saying it will work, but you can go in and talk with the judge and you might just get lucky saying I did it, but there is not ref to take it to in order to prove it. Again, if it is a sheriff or CHP sign off, you're S.O.L.
