Hey Guys/Girls,

I'm heading out to Burbank mid September and I'm doing a little research on the laws regarding modified cars, emissions, etc., I've heard they can be pretty bad for the modified community.

I have a Z that is pretty much stock performance wise with nothing more than an HKS Hi-Power exhaust and an Injen CAI, but the exterior is another story. CF Varis hood painted to match the OEM paint, Vertical Doors, Nismo V2 Kit, JDM Tail lights, Volks, etc., .... am I in for a hassle ?

What are your experiences, tips etc.,

It's pretty cool here in cali. You'll get pulled over if your asking for it, besides that I daily drive and rarely get hassled.

Off topic, but do you know Scotch from Boston are. He drives a G.

Back on topic - will I pass emissions etc., with the modded exhaust and are you modded visually and F/I ?

I believe if you go FI you have to be CARB legal in CA, but most guys aren't. As for smog, if you can't pass it usually a little more cash you pay so someone can look the other way.

Ugh, i'm in the Toluca Lake area, near the studios ... i'm sure i'll make due but i hate dicks - LOL with one exception of course.
