Question SoCal Amsoil Distributor?

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody knows where I can get a hold of Amsoil here in SoCal?

Also, since I have 14K on my Z, which Amsoil is highly recommended?

Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'd like to find a local dealer too... I've been using their econo stuff form Napa - I like it, but would rather get the "good" from distributor!

Very nice. Thank you kindly good man I shall give it a try

This is the stuff I usually get form Napa (I think this is it)
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/asl.aspx

Never had a problem with it... in fact I've always liked it better then M-1 and Royal Purple... but I've read that most retailers sell an inferior grade of Ams... I'll try the signature series you mention from Autobacs - hell there right around the corner - much more convenietn than the Napa in Los Al (thats the closest).

Thanks Viet

Thank god, I've been wanting to change my tranny and diff fluids to Amsoil... but all I see are individual sellers that still have to ship the stuff in... I'd rather pick it up and get it going...

Has anyone tried both fluids?

Amsoil has gotten expensive. I am actually pulling away from Amsoil on engine oil now. It is going to cost me $95 a case shipped~. It use to be $66 before shipping. Way too much for just 12 quarts. Penzoil Platnum is good enough.

Oil prices are coming down, but we won't see this at the pumps or shelves just yet

I have tried both and currently running in my SC truck. You can feel the difference, well I can.

As for the amsoil prices they have gone since they stop charging a sur-charge for every order you placed. Hopefully they will lower the prices some more in the coming months.

I wanted to try changing my tranny and diff fluids to Amsoil because shifting is starting to get harder in my Z... and I'm hoping it resolves that issue. (I just recently had a tranny service done by the dealership, and it didn't do jack.. :*( )

I just go to amsoil.com since with their reduced prices, and shipping, it equals to what they sell it at superautobacs in stanton. Great oil though. I change once a year with oil filters changed every 6 months. No complaints. My Z loves it.

I've actually been able to find Amsoil motor oil and oil filters at Superbacs ($10.99 for Amsoil Signature Series 0W-30)! Thanks guys! =)

Anyone using 0W-30 Amsoil Signature Series with the EA012 oil filter?
