Default your mobile internet speed?

I have T_mobile and the 3G suppose to be rolling out in mid oct. in the LA area. It's suppose to be out in SD already.. are you guys getting it? When I had regular internet, I was getting a whopping 10kbps!! with my current EDGE, i get 50k-90kish. My phone is 3G compatible. If you type 'mobile speed test' on your phone, you'll see a link to the dslreport site. post your internet speed please. I tried a few times and got 59k

Here is the speed on my BB Curve, notice the speed & I am in a much smaller market that you. So I guess less people drawing off the fat pipe does make a difference. Also the time on my camera needs to be changed, it is showing the picture on the time stamp from early afternoon. I usually run the speed test 2times & do the average. My market is not 3G like LA already.

I use: www.2wire.com for the speed test

Hang in there I work for T-mobile customer care that handles all that type of stuff and we have about 8-10 market areas already running the 3G and plan to have the top 20 finshed by end of this year and by mid 09 the rest of the top market areas! To bad im in Kansas so i dont get to see it anytime soon HAHAHA! bt so far it been going well! plus even though i work for t-mobile I have looked into all other companys and the honest truth T-mobile is the best hands donw in customer serivce and coverage and the fastest growing and has the larget net groth in profites as well as customer after every quarter! only compnay keeping up is version! rest are garbage. i know it also a opion based comment at the end but if your with t-mobile your with the right comany in the long run! plus we got bad *** phone coming out by end of this year FINALLY.

..to tired to fix grammer late!

I had verizon for a long time and they just went down to shatz. Tmobile used to dropped a lot of calls several years back, but it's gotten much better. Some of my friends have at&t and they're pleased with the service as well. They're all getting 3G speed and I feel left out, though.

btw, I got 97k last night with a full bar.. I guess reception is directly related to the speed.

I have the at&t tilt and yeh, it's 3G, but only picks up EDGE at the moment is LA, OC and N. SD. My friend's got an oversea samsung I900 and it clocked at 88k. internet explorer launch speed is at least 2x faster than mine. Tilt has a 400mhz and the i900's got 624 or something.

Who you with carrier wise???? You are showing a huge jump (these are both of your quotes), goTta believe your with verizon or Nextel. CharloTTe is not a 3G market with either T-Mobile or At&T, least it wasn't a 3G market when I left work early sunday morning..

Tests were performed in Clemson/Central SC about 4 miles apart or so.
Whats weird(or what really pisses me off) is that while at my apartment, the phone will say 3g full bars, but when i go online it switches to edge. Id rather it switch to my wireless internet which is probably faster then both. It says its connected but shows the E or 3G signal and not the ))) style signal.

Im on a 3g apple iphone with AT&T
