naaa... nothing like tossing the last 10 bundles in at once and just throw the fluid bottle in... Specially if you set the wood up right, you get a monster tower of fire!

I don't think HB has any good spots to eat.. at least not around the parking lot... The caravan can eat around Walnut, but 3 seems a bit early..

We can all gaymunch on marshmallows.. A BBQ is probably too much to ask knowing most people's car sizes. Since I probably have the most room, I'll try to fit in a cooler with water. I was thinking of packing some beer, but I really don't know everybody's age and def. don't want to be responsible for that...

m0nkie, I'm going to run to the store before meeting up in in Walnut. I'll grab a case of water. If you can get a cooler in your Evo and some ice, that would be great! When we meet up in Walnut, we can just stock the cooler with the bottled water.

That's not a problem, don't worry about that. Haha. Technically you're not supposed to drink at the beach PERIOD, but oh well. Bring the beer.

That would be correct sir!

People not bringing woods sit on the outer ring of the fire in 50 degree weather... and no marshmallows

i know that before i get to the spot i should have a thing or 2 of wood. no room in the trunk (2x 12's) no room in the passenger (the GF) but i will make it work some how.

that sounds like a good idea for you guys.

You guys know it might rain/drizzle on Saturday night right? Just be prepared... and it get a bit chilly when the sun goes down.

Do we have a head count of how many ppl are coming? I know there's 5 or 6 for sure in our Walnut caravan. Thinking about bringing a case of water or something so we won't be thirsty and stuff.
water is a great idea.

therre is a BJ's down the street, we ate there last time, might be a good idea again this time. if we all order then we can just split the bill or just make sure that we discuss this issue before hand so we can ask for separate checks, you dont want that uncomfortable feeling like you ate WAAAaaaay more then your neighbor and he just had a sprite and a pack of crackers and his bill is now $16 for a soft drink in a dirty glass

there IS no extra wood in a bon fire! all that stuff gets burned

-yup... burn it all ta h3ll!
-BJ's is best spot (think i said that?)
-if you ARE underage all i ask is that you please do everyone a favor and NOT drink so we can avoid any potential issues that may effect future HB meets for our "crew" (using the word crew lightly here people, )

cheers
a little advice for those drinking on the beach.... BRING RED CUPS (little plastic ones!) IF you get caught drinking on the beach you WILL be fined, they KNOW people drink there BUT if you dont make it a blatant sign of disrespect of the beach rules they wont say a thing normally. so to avoid ANY DRAMA........ BRING PLASTIC CUPS

i would say that 1 bundle should be REQUIRED... food and drinks are optional... wood is not too expensive. well, you dont have to bring it but it sure would be nice to show up with something in your hands.

not too sure about this one, a dog would be cool to have there tho... please check the HB website (use google to find link)
