Question had a minor "run in" with a fellow Z guy

I was leaving Jtown on my way home when i usually take Broadway down to the 5 fwy but my lazy *** decided to hope on the 110 north where those various tunnels are.. so everyone who knows that area knows the 5 freeway on the left hand side headed to 5 north gets crowded because its a single lane ...

under the tunnel area was hella congested but anyways i try to come in and im a very conservative driver, i always signal because its my biggest pet peeve when people dont signal so i always signal early to let people know waddup..

low and behold i happen to see a black clean Z with a wing, kit and time attacks and vented hood license plate "Bat Z" w/ the same my nismo stickers on his quarter panel which i have on my fender..

well i was signaling and gave the guy a thumbs up as well as the signal to see if he would let me merge in and the guy.. quickly closes the gap..

i just felt bad because im pretty sure "Bat Z" is on here, we have a very tight knit community and we even share the same mynismo sticker on our cars...

no problem with you i think you have a hella clean car i just wish as being part of the same community we coulda helped each other out luckily i was able to merge in down the lane...

but yeah take it easy, see you around...

Dude, I know what you mean.....its either i dont run into too many fellow my350 members or all the z owners in my area are cocky self centered individuals? I really hate it that my friend that had an rx7 and then a wrx has the ability to acknowledge other enthusiats with a friendly gesture, whereas ive never driven by a fellow z owner and got a thumbs up and instead get the ricer flyby instead.

Now i feel embarrassed waving to a another z as i get no response that i stopped alltogether.

Or maybe its the fact that theyre all stock z's that are non-community members..maybe my car looks ugly? Maybe im ugly? Maybe both?

+99999

I saw a nice clean black Z as I passed an intersection, the black Z was turning right to go the same direction I was heading, and I gave him a thumbs up and a smile.

He starts to tailgate me and at the redlight he peels out and drives all jackassed infront of me and messed up his front bumper bkuz of his reckless driving over the curb.

Another time I saw a fellow Z owner, I gave him a thumbs up and said nice ride! but he just HARDCORE MAD Dogged me and asked like an ***

lol but watevers to each his own....

i guess?

haha all good i mean its not really a big deal but ironically we ended up taking the 5 fwy until the 2 fwy and i saw his car again... i was wondering if he would give me a thumbs up, high beam or hazard but nothing at all...

i just thought he was a fellow enthusiast as well and bro if youre on here i dont mean to put you on blast its just that im more used to people with / without fixed up Z's showing some love

others not but for the most part i mean the JP aero wing, kit, time attacks, and mynismo sticker id probably assume you are on here as well..

oh well 99 y'alls thanks for the feedback

hes not a bad guy just his gestures caught me off guard thats all coming from a fellow enthusiast

I usually ignore the stock Z's since their are so many of them, but will occasionally get an enthusiast.

Most "modified" Z owners I've run into are cool as shiet: big smiles, thumbs up, nodding...
But man are there billy bad@sses out there with a chip on their shoulder.

My biggest peeve is those 4x4 Z's with chrome wheels and +50 offset trying to fly by you like they've unlocked an exotic on Need For Speed.
B1tch please...

I know this exact car. I saw him at a show, approached him to compliment the setup and he answered my questions like I was a 12 year old.....very cocky dude.

Just my opinion, but everyone gets offended or acts differently now and then, give the guy a break and move on, no need to get so heated over a minor subject.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this car at Best Buy in Hawthorne. But, this one had different volks on it I forgot which ones. But I do remember the "Bat Z" plate.
