Default Potholes!

I got my nismo v2 front painted 2 days ago, and 2 days later it got owned by a pothole. Anyhow theres a deadly pothole on the 10 West near Grand. Its on the furthest right lane, well technically the second furthest because of the merge, but either way stray away from the right lane. My car is dropped, but its probably a good 5 inches off the ground, but this pothole killed it. Now my front bumper has to be repaired, my left side alignment is all messed up, and my left front mud guard got completely torn off. But if you guys know any other potholes post it up so other forum members know not to go there.

You can try to file a complaint against the county and try to get your money back. There was a link about it a few months ago, but I didnt save it.

10 is the worst freeway

I heard it's a several month, if not a year, process to file a complaint. A friend's wife filed a complaint and they didn't get to her claim 6-7 months later.

I would file for a complaint but I heard it takes a long time to get through and also since my car wasn't at stock height they might void it complety. as of right now im getting it fix and it's going to cost 380 and im just going to take off the right side mudguard to match the left. btw does anyone have any recommendations on an alignment shop? thanks in advance

Sorry to hear! Happened to me in LA but with my dad's Altima. The pot hole was as big as the car and it was covered in water so I totally missed it. It was deep enough to scratch both exhausts and ripped off the bottom engine oil cover...

Anyways, I don't think the city will actually "pay" for your damage. You can complain but I don't think they'll do much about it. But good luck with it!
