I understand those are nice areas.. just not to my liking.

The garden grove area really has my attention but the commute would be awful.

I'll drive an extra 10-15 minutes if it means a better area.

What about woodland hills??? or North on the 5 towards valencia, but not as far as valencia???

haha ok i don't quite get what's not to like about studio city.. i love it myself... awesome shopping, great night life, beautiful homes, etc. anyway... yeah woodland hills is nice, as is the valley area like granada hills, northridge, but your commute might get real crappy on the 101 and 405.. it's taken me an hour and half to get from canoga park to hollywood at 10am... ridiculous.

what city is "the studios" in? and why are you staying in OC if you're looking for a place in the valley?

here's advice for LA commuting. if you can afford it, try living within walking or biking distance to work.

oh yeah, "i'll drive an extra 10-15 min if it means a better area" during commute hours can mean only 1 or 2 miles further. hahahaa

I see XS engineering is right where im staying

Im going to head up the 5 on wednesday to look up around valencia....

I found a decent place in north hollywood also, so we will see.

Thank you VERY much for all the input..

I went to Autobacs (sp) it was interesting... dont have stuff like that at home. Would have been nice to see an actual "shop" Ill look through the listings.

Thanks once again.

So went out some more

found a decent place on Andover glenoake area in brubank..

And a couple places in the ventura laurel canyon near buy area.

I have a ings front bumper and 20" volk GT's... im HIGHLY thinking of changing my setup around before bring the car out.. i think most the drive would EAT my front bumper..
