Default Anyone know a body shop in SoCal thats hiring?

Yo,

I want to learn about body prep, collision repair, painting. Anyone know any body shops looking for people for weekend work? I know absolutely nothing about body work except how to wet sand. I am willing to work for free until I have enough skills, don't mind sweeping the floor either. I would prefer a shop on the westside but would be willing to drive for a reputable shop.

Thanks guys!

Dan, look into a college course at a community college. I buddie when to one so he could work on his own car. You get discounts on materials and get to use tools for free.

If it’s not to far try Northridge Body works on Reseda and Parthenia. The owners name is Bob, tell him you’re willing to do some dirty work around the shop in return for some hands on training. He's a real nice guy and will either help you out or point you in the right direction. Better to show up in person with some credentials if any. School, personal ID, previous employers etc. just be prepared to answer any question he may have with some visual documentation…..Good luck.

It’s a long shot but remember it’s not what….it’s WHO you know.
