Default Who's in? AutoX/Meet in SD - Aug. 31, 2003

Let's try this one again.

There'll be another AutoX at Qualcomm Stadium - West Lot. Sunday, August 31, 2003.

There were only a few Z owners last time and only one person actually ran. Let's see what the Z and their drivers can do.

Who's in?

AutoX virgin right here! But not on the 31st I was hoping to get sways installed by the 31st, but now I'm thinking I should just run it stock to learn the limits of the car better. Any thoughts?

You run by yourself on a flat course with cones that define various corners. Courses run between 1-2 minutes. That's all I know.

LOL... AutoX virgin here too (when it comes to my own car). I've ridden with my friend in his Z3 though. This will be the first time I'm gonna run with my own car.

Ganz, you definitely should run stock first. That way you know what your car can do before you start modding it.

Funny - most, if not all, 350Z owners will have a big ol' "N" on our cars (for "novice"). Also, a staff member will be riding with you on your first run and you'll have to borrow a helmet if you don't already have one.

Ganz is correct. You'll be running by yourself. You may be running in a different class though depending on the mods that you've done to your car. From what I can see on your pics you have a Nismo (or replica) wing; I'm not sure if this alone will put you in a different class. The SCCA staff will be inspecting your car before you run so you'll know what class it will be.

Anyhoot - are you guys in? I'm probably bringing two other friends. We can do what we did for the Mission Bay Meet and make a "who's going list".
