In my short ten years of driving in Cali, I figured switching lanes and speeding is futile. Always some granny up ahead or the badge hiding under a freeway underpass. Not to mention, folks like my aunt blindly drifting into lanes when you try to pass her Camry at 85mph.

I use to drive my gf nuts because I'm such a non-aggressive driver.
But whatever....no speeding tickets and I'm always on time

 

Never signal to change lanes. That signals to CA drivers that they need to speed up to block the lane change. Just look for your spot and quickly blindside them.

Cali needs their own DOT requirements...like reinforced rear-bumpers.

 

this is not common enough to be a pet peeve but one time i saw a girl (asian girl), i'm asian, in a Scion xB driving at 1am in the morning with one hand next to her face with one cell phone, and her other hand punching numbers on another cell phone! wtf... i quickly out paced her and gtfo.

 

today is probably more annoying because since its hella raining in SO. CAL we'll be seeing people speeding without signaling...

Speeding in the rain is a close second to Tailgating in the rain

 

Cars driving side by side going the same speed with no lane to pass.
Cars in carpool lane driving slower than regular lanes.
Raised trucks with bright @$$ lights behind you.

 

what's with people driving so Fawking slow when its raining???? its worst when they slow down just cause there's a few drop of rain, you are not going to melt if water hit your car..

 

i'm guilty of driving slow... summer tires that are kinda worn out = spinning tires/fishtailing/accidental drifting entirely too often.
