Default VSXX lip repair?

i know the vsxx lips are anodized and not sprayed.. has anyone taken to a place that's fixed the clear coat/scratches and rash and hasn't had any problems? how much did you pay? and what's the turn around? thanks.

If it is the same process as volk wheels, then good luck. I never found an answer. And when a wheel shop does do it, it will come out silver not polished from what Ive seen.

Maybe take a look at these guys. www.rbwheels.com. Back when I had vsxx and dented one of the wheels, I was thinking of taking it to them. I guess they buy a bunch of JDM wheels, among others, and refinish them and resell em.

They won't be able do redo your clearcoat if there was one. I thought the vsxx just had a chrome lip.?....Call Truwheel in the valley - the fixed my old Volk SF - Challenges.

The finish on the lip of the wheels they sell is not polished to a mirror finish. (At least not the set that I bought from them). It is a machined finished that is *almost* polished. Nothing that couldn't be finished with a little hand polishing.

Velvet Touch can repair it and clearcoat it again for your but it wont be anodized clearcoat.

I would recommend fixing it and having them remove the clearcoat from all the wheels, more hassle than its worth imo.

Just be sure to put some metal polish on them every once in awhile.

Tell them Dan with the Silver 350z that went to SEMA recommended them.
