so i broke my 15-month speeding-ticket-free streak last night... GO ME! im proud of myself actually, that i went that long w/o getting a speeding ticket. got one on the 2s, it was really funny for some reason & the cop was totally nice (he only wrote me for 80, i was going way way way faster than that.... his words "you passed 13 cars... EEEEASILY"..) & cordial but be careful guys, cuz he said there was a fatality a couple nights ago cuz some idiot got on the 2 going the wrong way & crashed head-first into someone... so the 2's been crawling with popo since then. just a heads up

nah i really don't feel bad about it... i totally deserved it. i got on the fwy at 8:30 exactly, thinking to myself.... wonder if i can get to burbank by 8:45 (was meeting ani there)....
i'd been in a funk for a couple days about something & this totally snapped me out of it... i actually feel pretty good now. the cop was nice & gentlemanly.... i think i'll even actually go to court & just ask for traffic school instead of try to fight it.... maybe.

well, i pulled off at mountain to get written up, then when i was getting back on the fwy there was a SECOND cop chillin by the side of the road on the on-ramp... i BARELY EVER see cops on the 2, let alone 2 in the same area.

They jacked z up and found nothing wrong with it (no exhaust damage, no wheel damage, no frame damage). I just need to replace front bumper and lower engine plastic peice underneath. I got real damn lucky the ladder went straight underneath
