^ I was aware of it last year but i forgot the actual date. A couple of my real close friends taught me about it as they are from the same area. I even remeber a couple years ago they invited me over and their familys did have a praying moment but then the whole family had like a party to celebrate that they are here today.
it was kind of cool. i like learning about other cultures and stuff like this and even experiencing how a family reacts to days as such.

Well, that celebration and a smokeout/drinking sess are a tad bit different... I mean I dont really care, but Mike should know better. I dont want everyone to mourn and sulk, but this is not a day that Armenians should be treating as just another Saturday night.
oh there was no smoke out with the family party i went to. when i say party i mean like huge dinner and their style music playing and everyone having a good time. some ppl were drinking alcohol but it wasnt like a smokeout/drinking thing.
its crazy to see all the ppl giving the op of that thread **** as if hes asking for sorrys and all. he was just informing ppl of the date for ppl that may have forgot such as myself. yet ppl go crazy on him kind of.

Semp i do know whats going on, i rather no go to the events (due to the lil kids trying to the fight u and actin all tuff when they not..) i dont throw a HUGE flag on my car and drive around recklessly like a moving target to get pulled over either.
