becareful with ontimedigital.com (horrible customer service) ... as i was about to buy the Garmin navigation 200w for 94.00 + shipping they were telling me i had to buy the map separately as i did not know... the map is 65.00.. just giving you guys a heads up.. before i could ask any other questions they just hanged up on me, horrible service

its a 7inch screen which would really be a lot easier for the parents. read a few good reviews on it too. free shipping as well.. all for $100..

 

I don't think that unit has an internal battery which means you cannot use it unless it is plugged in...no walking with it, etc..

 

yea i read that. its okay, i dont think my parents would ever need to travel by foot to find a location.. the gps will most likely remain in the car.

I don't have any of these. I have the Alpine Blackbird from 2 years ago but can't recommend it mostly because of price. You're basically just paying for the name.

 

just bought the MIO MOOV 500 and i think its greatt.. worth the money paid 150.00 at Radioshack MSRP price i believe was around 250.00... great unit
