You say it won't show much power...
Will it however hold the characteristics of the REV up better then the Motordyne stuff...
What I mean is that I get great midrange power with the spacer and lower plenum ....will it keep that but then give me what I lose next to redline right now....?
My power drops off or flattens a bit from 6k and on....where in stock form it didnt...my peak HP was around 6800 stock....
Thanks,

Thanks,
First and foremost the sources I spoke to inside Cosworth knew that it would require an increased rev limit and tuning to extract the most gains from it because its so different from the stock mani.
When I first learned this back in 07 I was a little sad because at the time tuning wasnt cheap and HKS VPRO was needed (unless you wanted the UTEC hiccups)
Now REVUP guys should start with tuning and work there way forward IMO....OSIRIS is a must even on a stock Z....the stock REVUP tune is very conservative and there are gains to be had even stock...not to mention the fuel savings.
I think OSIRIS, straight pipes, dual 2.75 exhaust are a great bang for your buck...figure 6-700 for a tuned OSIRIS, 250-300 for the straight pipes and 550-600 for the duals...
Either way an extra 500rpm and the proper fuel with the cosworth mani would go a long way for stuff you can slap on a Vq motor without much hassle and extract good gains...people have spent much more than the 999-1100 that this mani costs and havent gained 12whp in some cases....If you can even just hold the power to redline from 6000 rpm to 7500rpm you can see the sizable gains you can make

My car ran super rich (into the 11's) the last time I hit the rollers and I have been dying to test the car as is with just a leaner/more aggressive map with the small mods I have...
