Fast & Furious
I went to the one at the Block at Orange in 2006 for FNF TD and it was not bad. I know the gathering itself sounds like rice, but it all depends on who's hosting it and where it takes place. The parking lot was sectioned off, there were security guards, raffles, prizes, and a few reserved theatres. At the time I had an S14 SR, but I didn't take it with me that night.....I wish I could have though. It was really well organized and some of the producers where present for the movie.

+1
i'll admit...when i was in high school and i went to the theathers opening night for F&F2 (i was young and naive...leave me alone
), all i saw were civics, eclipses, integs, etc (yes, i thought they looked cool but thank goodness i snapped out of it and saw the light
)...not that i have anything against them but most of them were rice...
i can understand why nice cars like supras, rx-7's, skylines, 350z's showed up at theaters on opening night for F&F3 (it being about drifting and all). but, i cant imagine why anyone would want to make it obvious by taking their modified car to the theaters that they are there specifically to watch F&F4 when this movie seems like its going to be a fail from day one within the auto enthusiast community...i mean really, this movie just screams out "RICE" (ae86 shown being the exception
)
i guess to each their own and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that was mine.

I would just show up at the theaters with my Mums car
. But i saw all 3 movies at the theaters, and there were alot of stupid drivers revving, gunning it in the parking lots. I just point and laugh lol

i think you guys think to highly of yourselves and its pretty funny looking at you guys think that your the ish and pointing down to others and laughing at them. if previously you had bad experiences im sorry, but something hasnt even happened yet and yall are alread flaming it LMAO. like its gonna be a "rice meet"... who are you joking you guys drive 350z and yes they are sexy but its JDM rice canidates as are most Japanese cars... you guys are acting like snoty people driving 6 figure euro cars and looking down and poking fun at those kids with 30k and under cars that have all these bells and whistles.
Newsflash you are one of those kids with the 30k and under jap cars, not to take anything away from any of us, but every person has different tastes (but its not even a matter of taste here) its a matter of class and maturity. As long as you dont show up craving attention and acting stupid no one will "point to you and laugh".
